VIVIENE ASTAKHOVA

Viviene's work is about presence — the way cities hold their history in stone and light. Trained as an architect, she moved to Vienna drawn to a place where art is not displayed but lived. She paints the spaces most people pass without stopping: a baroque facade in warm afternoon light, the silence before weather turns, the quiet geometry of a courtyard at dusk.

Her watercolors live somewhere between architecture and atmosphere — precise enough to feel structural, luminous enough to feel like memory. Each piece invites the viewer not to observe the space, but to stand inside it.
