THE WORK
Vienna's rooftops at the blue hour. The great latticed dome rises from the haze, its curved roof catching the last pale gold of the sky; twin Gothic spires dissolve behind it like an afterimage. Below, small copper cupolas and shadowed facades sink into the dark green of the treetops. Rose, violet and amber — the city exhaling into evening.
THE INSPIRATION
Mist does to a city what memory does to the past: it keeps the essential shapes and lets the details soften. The dome remains, the spires remain, and everything between them becomes atmosphere.
