Return and Refund Policy

14-day right of withdrawal (EU consumers) If you are a consumer purchasing within the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, email hello@vivieneastakhova.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a clear statement of withdrawal.

This right does not apply to business purchases (B2B), commissioned works, custom pieces, or works personalized to your specifications.

Condition of returned items Artworks must be returned in the same condition they were received: undamaged, unframed if originally shipped unframed, in their original frame if originally framed, and in the original protective packaging.

We reserve the right to deduct from your refund an amount corresponding to any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the work (e.g., smudges, scratches, dents, frame damage, or signs of display).

Timeline Once your return is approved, you have 14 days to ship the work back to us. Returns shipped after this window may be refused.

Return shipping Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, except where the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect. In those cases, we cover return shipping at our expense.

All returns must be sent with insurance covering the full purchase value of the work and a tracked courier service. Returns sent without insurance and tracking cannot be processed if the item is lost or damaged in transit, and no refund will be issued.

Non-returnable items The following are made to order and cannot be returned:

• Commissioned works
• Custom or personalized pieces
• Architectural illustration and interior visualization services

This is clearly noted at the point of purchase.

Damaged or incorrect items Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. If the work arrives damaged, defective, or you receive an incorrect piece, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@vivieneastakhova.com with photographs of:

• The damage to the work
• The original outer packaging
• The shipping label

Without this documentation within 48 hours, damage claims cannot be honored. We will arrange a return or replacement at our cost.

How to start a return Email hello@vivieneastakhova.com with your order number and reason for return. Once your return is approved in writing, we will send you the return address and shipping instructions.

Do not ship items back before receiving written return instructions. Unannounced returns will not be accepted and will be returned to sender at the buyer's expense.

Refunds Once the returned work arrives and has passed inspection (typically within 5 business days), we will notify you whether the refund is approved.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. We will refund the original purchase price and the standard shipping cost of the original order, but not premium shipping upgrades or expedited delivery fees. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund.
