THE WORK
A two-arched stone bridge crosses still water in a town bathed in rose, apricot and violet. Warm houses and tall cypresses line the far bank; old lamps glow along the parapet. The water lies perfectly calm, holding the arches and the sky in a flawless reflection. Nothing moves. The whole scene feels held, a single moment lifted out of time and kept.
THE INSPIRATION
This is the moment after the reaching.
The bridge is built, the two shores have found each other, and now - stillness.
Time stops on purpose, so the connection can simply be enjoyed: no striving, no distance left to cross.
Just two banks, joined, resting in the light of what they've made.
