THE WORK
Two studies of a restored Defender in soft cream. Above, a three-quarter rear view with the canvas top up, painted against a wash of indigo and warm desert light. Below, a side profile rendered looser and dustier, earth-brown ground, muted body, the machine caught mid-journey. The same vehicle, still and in motion.
THE INSPIRATION
Cream paint over desert dust.
A machine rebuilt not for the showroom but for the long empty road, where the only thing ahead is horizon, and the only sound is the engine and the wind through an open top.
