THE WORK
This composition renders Parisian facades through transparent watercolor washes, dissolving heavy stone into a hazy evening atmosphere. A single illuminated window anchors the dusk. Executed on heavy handmade paper, the piece is presented with an archival passepartout exposing the raw deckle border.
THE INSPIRATION
Operating within the Urban Solitude series, this piece recontextualizes the French capital. It reduces the metropolis to pure structural geometry under fading light, examining the visual shift when massive architecture becomes secondary to a single illuminated room.
