A single lit window grounds the perspective. Painted on heavy handmade paper, the work is mounted in a custom passepartout mat to emphasize the raw deckle edges.
THE INSPIRATION
Expanding the narrative of the Urban Solitude series, this painting examines the Portuguese concept of saudade. The work strips away the noise of the city to focus purely on the structural geometry of the street and the fading atmospheric light along the coast.
