THE WORK
A full side portrait of a restored Defender 110 in deep green, canvas top folded up, standing in warm desert light. The bodywork is painted with real care, the panelling, the chunky tyres, the worn details, while the ground below dissolves into soft violet and ochre shadow. Loose, confident watercolour on off-white cotton paper: a working machine given the dignity of a portrait.
THE INSPIRATION
Green over desert dust, canvas rolled back, ready for the road.
A machine rebuilt by hand and painted with affection, not polished for a showroom, but alive, capable, and made to be driven.
Iron with a soul, in profile.
