THE WORK
Two olive moments. Above, a still life: an earthenware jug holding a branch of olive leaves, a dark bowl of green olives beside it, a few spilled across the table. Below, a quieter study, a single olive sprig casting its soft shadow on a sunlit wall. A typewritten line reads Olive stories. Chapter I. Warm ochres, dusty greens and violet shadow, framed in wide white space like a page from a Mediterranean diary.

THE INSPIRATION
A jug, a branch, a shadow on a wall: small Mediterranean things, the quiet luxury of a sunlit afternoon and a table set with almost nothing, and everything.
