Shipping Policy

All artworks are carefully packaged and shipped from Vienna, Austria.

Original Works Original artworks are shipped unframed with passepartout, protected in archival materials and rigid packaging to ensure safe delivery.

Processing Time Orders are processed within 3–7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping Methods We ship worldwide using trusted carriers. Shipping options and rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and order value.

Delivery Times Estimated delivery times:

  • Europe: 3–7 business days
  • International: 7–14 business days typical, up to 21 business days depending on destination and customs processing

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, weather, strikes, or other events outside our control.

Risk and Title For consumer purchases within the European Union, risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon delivery. For business purchases (B2B) and international shipments outside the EU, risk and title pass to the buyer once the work is handed over to the carrier.

Customs and Duties International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or local handling fees. These charges are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the buyer. Refusal to pay customs charges does not entitle the buyer to a refund of shipping costs.

Tracking All shipments include tracking and are insured for the full purchase value. Tracking details will be provided by email once the order has been dispatched.

Damage in Transit If your order arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@vivieneastakhova.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of:

  • The damage to the work
  • The original outer packaging
  • The shipping label

Without this documentation within 48 hours, damage claims cannot be honored. Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or refund at our cost.

Lost Shipments If a shipment is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier, we will issue a full refund or arrange a replacement, at the buyer's choice.

Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery Please ensure your shipping details are correct at checkout. We are not responsible for failed deliveries, additional shipping fees, or returned packages caused by incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable addresses provided by the buyer. Re-shipment to a corrected address may incur additional shipping charges.

Prints Prints are produced as numbered limited editions on Hahnemühle cotton paper. Standard prints from our catalog are subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal for EU consumers, in accordance with the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (FAGG), provided they are returned in original, unused condition with all packaging.

Custom prints, personalized prints, or prints produced to specifications outside the standard catalog are made to order and are not eligible for withdrawal under EU consumer law.

Commissions and Custom Works Commissioned works and custom pieces are made to order based on the buyer's specifications and are not eligible for return, exchange, or withdrawal once production has begun.
