THE WORK
A Parisian kitchen at midday. A marble island veined in umber and slate anchors the room; brass pendants drift from the ceiling rose like a handful of suspended planets. Ornate boiserie walls dissolve into washes of pearl and taupe. Two vases, a sprig of green, an empty stool. Everything waits.
THE INSPIRATION
A home is not the architecture, it is the hour. Late morning, nobody in the room yet, light already setting the table. The most intimate portrait of a household is the moment before anyone enters.
