THE WORK
Berlin in the rain, drenched in blue and violet. The Fernsehturm rises through the grey sky; a great dome and a lone street statue stand to the right. A single lamp glows warm against the cold. On the wet bridge, one figure walks beneath an umbrella, reflected in the rain-slicked stone. The whole city is washed soft and cold, and the only warmth is one small lamp and one small soul moving through it.
THE INSPIRATION
A great city in the rain.
Towers, domes, monuments to everything we build, and beneath them, one umbrella, one person walking home.
The rain does not ask where you are from.
Loneliness falls on every city the same way, and we carry our own small shelter through it.
