THE WORK
Indigo towers stand to the left, a slender spire to the right. Between them, a low bridge of pale arches crosses the water, glowing in peach and rose. Lampposts hold small points of light. The whole city sinks into its own reflection below, where the colors blur and run. The bridge is the only thing that connects the two shores.
THE INSPIRATION
A fragile bridge — between the step back and the step forward taken anyway.
However heavy the crossing, however unsure the ground, the way ahead is chosen one arch at a time.
