THE WORK
A white house sits on a quiet hill among tall pines. Stone stairs lead down to still water. Two storks rest on the roof. Small lanterns glow along a wooden dock on the left, and deep indigo washes frame the scene like curtains drawn half open. The house is mirrored in the water below, perfectly still.
THE INSPIRATION
Two worlds meet in this painting.
The left side represents the outside world — vast, uncertain, and often difficult to navigate. The right side reveals an inner landscape: a place of warmth, safety, and belonging.
The house becomes a symbol of the emotional spaces we create for ourselves, while the two storks on the roof stand for loyalty, family, and the quiet promise of return.
