THE WORK
A varnished mahogany runabout idles in a bay of impossible blue, one man at the wheel in a white shirt, looking toward the shore. Above him, a cliffside town rises in tiers of cream and terracotta, crowned by mountains fading into haze. Small sailboats rest at anchor; the water breaks into ribbons of cobalt, turquoise and white. Warm wood, cool sea, and a morning with nowhere else to be.
THE INSPIRATION
Polished wood, white linen, blue water.
A town built into a cliff by people who understood that beauty is not extra, it is the point.
This is the sweet life: not more, but better made.
