The medium isolates the fleeting light of the blue hour. The amphitheater is anchored by an illuminated window. Executed on handmade paper, it features an archival passepartout and raw deckle edge.
THE INSPIRATION
Part of the Urban Solitude series, this piece investigates the tension between Roman antiquity and modern isolation. By contrasting massive ruins with a private room, this work shifts focus from public grandeur to personal human experiences. The miniature format dictates an intimate viewing experience, inviting contemplation of the city's stillness.
