Below, bare footprints trailing across wet sand toward the sea. An interior and its echo outside: the person who looked out the window, and the path they took to the water.

Someone stood at this window. Someone walked down to the sea.The moment is not the person, it is the slipper left behind, the prints not yet washed away.
