THE WORK
An entry hall under a high arch. A tall window of sea-green glass cuts the wall, letting a wedge of daylight fall onto the stone floor. A wooden bench waits below it, flanked by vases of dried branches and a low arched table. Sand, taupe and rose tones; the hush of a space between outside and in.
THE INSPIRATION
Every home has a threshold, the place where you're no longer out in the world but not yet fully home. Someone put a bench there. Someone understood that arriving deserves a pause.
