THE WORK
A cable-stayed bridge reaches across still water, its tall pylon strung with fine lines like a harp. Small lamps flicker warm along the span. Everything dissolves upward into a glow of apricot and rose, the far end of the bridge melting into light. The structure is precise and aspiring; the destination, luminous and not quite in focus, a clear road leading toward something beautiful and just out of reach.
THE INSPIRATION
A bridge is a road with a purpose: it goes somewhere, and it goes there beautifully. The lamps are lit, the lines drawn taut,
the far end glowing gold, and the whole span leans toward it.
The goal shines; the way is clear; and the reaching is its own kind of arrival.
